1. Data we process

Data may include account and sign-in provider identifiers, device and session information, time records and related events, projects, and tags, review text and images you choose to upload, membership product and transaction-linking identifiers, canonical access status, sync metadata, and necessary security or diagnostic information.

We do not ask for your Apple Account password, payment-card password, or App Store private keys. Full receipts, signed transaction bodies, server keys, and payment credentials should not appear in ordinary logs, analytics events, or user-facing errors.

2. Purposes and legal bases

We process data to provide local recording and cross-device sync, sign-in and account security, membership verification and restoration, entitlement changes after refunds or revocations, user-selected media uploads, support and troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Depending on location, processing may rely on performance of our service contract, your consent, legitimate interests in protecting the service and users, or compliance with law. Withdrawing consent does not affect prior lawful processing.

3. Local-first, sync, and purchase data

Core records are written locally before account sync. Unsynced data may exist only on the current device. Uninstalling the app, losing the device, or clearing data may remove content that has not synced.

The App Store is the source of Apple transaction facts, while the backend is the canonical authority for account membership. Actual amount, currency, and storefront come from Apple-verified transaction data.

4. Sharing, processors, and international transfers

To provide the service, data may be processed by Apple for the App Store, push, and device-platform services; a sign-in provider you choose; and providers of cloud infrastructure, databases, object storage, notifications, security diagnostics, and support. We provide only data needed for the relevant function.

Data may be processed in countries or regions where the operator or providers operate. For international transfers, we use consent, contractual, assessment, or other valid safeguards required by applicable law and respect mandatory local rights. Third parties' independent processing is governed by their privacy policies.

5. Retention, deletion, and account closure

We retain data for periods needed for sync, recovery, security audit, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Business data is generally retained while an account remains open. After account closure, data no longer needed is deleted or de-identified, while records needed for law, disputes, fraud prevention, or financial audit are isolated for the necessary period.

Local unsynced data is controlled by your device. Closing your account or making a deletion request does not delete transaction records independently retained by Apple under its own rules.

6. Your rights and choices

Subject to product capabilities and applicable law, you may request access, correction, a copy or export, deletion, restriction of or objection to certain processing, and withdrawal of revocable permissions or consent.

7. Security, children, and policy updates

We use transport protection, access controls, least privilege, auditing, and session isolation, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device and sign-in methods and report suspicious activity promptly.

The service is not directed to children below the digital-consent age in their location. Users who require guardian consent must use it with that consent and guidance. If we learn that child data was processed without valid authorization, we will delete it or restrict processing as appropriate.

Material changes will be notified through the app, website, or another reasonable channel. An updated policy applies from its stated effective date.
